Other women lawyers organisations
OWLS serves women law students and women lawyers of Otago. There are other organisations or groups which share similar objects:
On a national level, there is the Womens Consultative Group of the New Zealand Law Society established in 1994, primarily as an advisory body to the NZLS Board. The WCG provides a forum for discussion on a broad range of issues that impact on women within the legal profession and under the law.
Donna Buckingham is Chair of the Womens Consultative Group and may be contacted at donna.buckingham@otago.ac.nz
